My lawyer told us to prepare all copies of I-140, EAD cards, H-1 B notice, even include the I-20.

用passport可以吗？
No. You need notorized original copy. Mine was done in China.

4) Your petitioner’s Birth Certificate and your petitioner’s evidence of United States Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident status.
谁是我的petitioner呢？按 1) 的理解，大学是我的petitioner，而我是我太太和孩子们的petitioner。这样对吗？ 可是，从字面上看，petitioner必须是美国公民或绿卡人士。
If you are the primary application, petitioner means you. You are your wife and child's petitioner.
