谢谢。I just called USCIS and confirmed that I have legal status to stay in US because I filed I485 when I have H1-b and I have I485 receipt.
As for the unemployment benefit, I checked EDD website, actually to be qualify for it, I have to demonstrate that I will be immediately ready to work...so I guess no EAD means no on that ... so no Unemployment for me. But USCIS confirm that Unemployment does not mean public welfare and it will not affect green card appl.
