Urgent question: Will TSC pick up mails from USPS? Thanks a lot!

I mailed the forms for RFE to TSC via USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation. The tracking information shows USPS tried to deliver the package late in the afternoon but failed so they left a notice to USCIS and waited them to pick up, and the packages will be returned if not picked up. My question is: will USCIS actually pick up the packages at the post office, from your past experiences?

I'm a little worried about the cut-off date and did not expect USPS could do this since they leave packages with delivery confirmation in my mailbox all the time. Is it helpful to call them? Anyone had the similar experiences before?
