I'm a student in a third country. My J-1 was refused because I couldn't show strong ties in this country. I'm just a foreign student here, once I finish study and leave, I have no ties at all with this country. The consular officer suggested that I go back to China to apply. My questions are: 1). Do I have to apply in China? I'm busy in my studying here, and hard to spend time to go back to apply; 2). Which kind of document I should prepare? I'm a student without any work experience. I have no job, no house in China. I'm very grateful to you for your suggestions!!!
Your suggestions, please!!
