J2 可免tax的

One way is to wait until the end of year to file tax return to get your tax back. Or try to fill W-4 as exempt individual at your HR dept. Then they should not withhold any tax from your pay check. You must be within 3 calender year since you hold your j-2. I helped many j-2 to get their tax back (usually couple thousand bucks). Find IRS Pub 539 and 901 for details.
