My labor certificate is in pending for more than 2 years, and I am in the last 6 months of 6 years of H1-B. Suppose I can extend my H1-B year by year, right? But recently my company will be sold (maybe piece by piece). I don’t know what kind of effect the transition will make to the pending labor cert? Am I still eligible to extend my H1-B when I reach the 6 years limit if I find another job and apply a new H1-B?
