urgent help needed

I am an F-2 now, and I plan to go to school this fall, so I will change my
status from F-2 to F-1. Usually this situation should be stated in I-20 under
#3" This certificate is issued to the student named above for:" as "Initial
attendance-status change requested".
But my I-20 only state "Initial attendance at this school" , and in #9 Remarks, it
states "student requesting change of status F-2 to F-1" Dose anyone have any
idea that my I-20 is ok to submit to INS for F-2 to F-1 status change?
