I have my I-140 (EB2 NIW) submitted to CSC in 10/2004 along with I-485. I-140 got approved in April 2005. Then got stuck on NC until 04/23/2007. The case were transferred to NSC in 03/2007.
In 2006, I wrote to congressman and got replied back stating my case was pending on NC. In 02/2007, I wrote a letter to First Lady. Later I got replied from FBI who mentioned my letter to First Lady. From that FBI letter I knew that NC was clear on 04/23/2007. Before I got reply from FBI, I also wrote to two Senators. One of them replied me and asked me waiting for her inquiry. The other has no echo at all.
I wrote a letter to NSC director in June 2007 complaining the slow process of I-485 with the letter to First Lady and the letter from FBI attached. No answer yet.
I wrote to the same congressman (Pete Stark) in July.
On 08/23/2007 my wife applied for EAD electronically(I have applied it and renewed once.). Her case on EAD was LUD on 08/28. So for both of our I-485 cases.
On 09/05/2007, I received two email stating that the card production order for both me and my wife.
