Sounds like you are a lady, but jsut want to make sure if you are or not. Only male between 16-45 and people (male and female)from some designated countries above 16 need to fill DS157 (Chinese female is not included). So, if you area lady, don't even worry about it.
However, if you are a male, don't need to put your university there either. Unless you have a plan to transfer to F1. But do make sure your name is not on SEVIS to avoid the trouble, check with the ISO of your school.
Even if you think your spouse's major or job is sensitive, you cannot avoid the questions coming that way. So, be honest but don't talk too much than you need to. I am not sure about if they'll ask your spouse to go along with you or not. But Since you are not a first timer for visa, I don't feel like they'll do that.
You need to bring your spouse's original I797. If you have your own I797, it's even better to bring it. If you think there are too much trouble to do it in China, consider Canada or Mexico.
