最新消息：AOS I485 将效仿H1-B名额使用方法。

介于2007 I-485名额已经用完，2008年名额10月一日才能生效。为缓解各方压力和7月VB更改给广大客户带来的不变，参见H1-B申请先例，决定自8月一日起可以提交I-485 副带，AP，EAD申请。但I-485要等到10月份才能进入处理程序，AP，EAD则马上处理。
