preferably you have h1b PP so you would get it within 15 days.

If the H4 on I-94 is going to expire before your h1b extension approval, then you don't have other option except file h4 extension with your h1b receipt, right?

you can check online for your h1b status so you can include the online printout if it's approved but you don't have the approval notice

Hopefully they will put his h4 extension into your h1 extension folder.
