labor certificate ques-help!

The international office of my institution requries original job ad for my labor certification paperwork. The officer said the job ad must be original and there is no exception for this. Is that true? Anyone knows that INS really requires original ad? Since the job ad was published on a newspaper one year ago, most places only keep recent 6 month's newspaper, the back issues were recycled; we no longer can find the real newspaper. If we couldn't find the original and submit the application with the copy of the original ad, the application could be denied because of this? Anyone has simiar experience? any sugesstions?
