H1B（EB3）被公司LAYOFF，I485 PENDING超过两年，该怎么办？

我被公司LAYOFF(I485　PENDING超过两年)，H1B是不占名额的，因为是非盈利机构，听说不可以转H1B（因为不占名额），我申请了EAD，但至少下个月才下来。我的旧公司承诺不象移民局报告什么。
请问我现在该怎么办，是不是只能等EAD才能工作，绿卡会不会因此受影响呢。请帮我看看，十分感谢。_(^) _(^) _(^)
