Make sure you want to get visa or transfer status for your wife. The visa and status are two different issues. If you ARE looking for a visa, you need to book an appointment for her at US consulate in Toronto through "www.nvars.com". There is a checklist for you to prepare your documents. Normally, you apply in the morning and get it back in the afternoon of the next day. Mostly your documents play critical role in this matter. Don't forget to bring your ORIGINAL I797 and proof of employment letter.
