Under certain conditions you may be considered as a taxable resident in Canada, for example, a bank account, a registered car, etc. If you don't have anything left in Canada other than MLC, you are not a taxable resident, otherwise you may check Canadian Revenue Agency to see if you are subject to tax or not.
