F1 renewal W/ OPT application

Hi, I'm graduating this Dec, and degree conferral date is Feb 1st. I'm in the process of applying for OPT. Meanwhile, I need to go back to China in this Dec. It is impossible to get F1 renewal? Any infor would be appreciated!
