1) See a notary to show him a statement that you are remaining single and sign it before the notary.
2) Go to the court, Marriage License section. Ask them to check your marriage history. They will give you one sheet, which indicates that you are a single.
Also let civil department to certify the notary's signature.
3) You may need to mail those information to the secretary of your state to get the a document which will show that your documents are valid.
4) After that you can go to the consulate. Please call them first.
