and the redemption level is lower than HHonor points.

HHonor pts are worth much less, pt by pt, due to very high redemption requirement.

Give you another example:

20K Starwood pt can exchange 25K AA miles.

but 20K AA miles can exchange 40K HHonor pts.

HHonor pts are just so inflated, that now I assign 0.003 face value per pt!

PC pts are valuable if you know how to use it. It has flat rate 30Kpt for Intercontinental hotel worldwide - we just spent 150K PC pts for 5 nights at IC Le Grand Paris. Or you can spend the same 30K pt a night at Bora Bora if you fancy French Polynesia, or 30K at IC Tokyo Bay! The other end of the spectrum is the Holiday Inn Express for roadtrip, here and aboard - HIX is only 10K PC pts and is of great value when you do National Park type trips here or do city hops in Europe but do not stay in big cities.

We generally use our hotel points on both ends - the very high end, expensive properties, or the lowest end of each chain. We found HIX of PC, and TownePlace of Marriott, are excellent point redemption choices when you do road trips.
