I am confused by high school ranks. For instance, Staples High School is ranked #574 in US News' national rank but #23 for public schools in http://www.bestcolleges.com/features/best-high-schools-in-america/  Its #1 pubic school Horace Greeley High School is ranked #157 in US News. 

Adlai E Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, IL | US News is ranked #166 in US News but is ranked #1 in https://k12.niche.com/rankings/ for public high schools.

Which rank should I believe?  US News?
