It all depends

If you are young and healthy, you can easily find some thing like $100/month. BC has one couple month ago that is made for families of three. No co-pay, no deductable, oldest person in the family is 50, the cost is $600/month. Personaly, I think it is a very good deal.
By the way, if you see a doctor in Jan, and cancel your coverage in Feb. you will be covered.
