there are numerous very small nonspecific high T2 signal intensity foci scatted throughout the cerebral white matter which likely representing chronic areas of gliosis from prior ischemia or inflammation given their appearance and distribution. this finding may be seen in association with headaches. there is no mass lesion, hydrocephalus, or evidence suspicious for acute hemorrhage or infarction
