如果J1过期后，把身份转成B2，在B2 approval 之前，H1b办下来了，还能使用H1b吗？
-That will be a problem. If H-1 is approved first and B-2 is approved later, then your H-1 status will be overridden by B-2 status. Thus, your status is B-2, not H-1. So, you have to go to China to get the H-1 visa to come back to work.
Vice versa, if B-2 is approved first,, and the H-1 is approved, later, then you can stay in US and work with H-1 status.
如果可以，B2 的申请怎么办呢？- If your employer cannot file H-1 petition before your J-1 expires, you may have no choice: either file B-2 application to stay in US (see above about the impact) or leave US and wait for the H-1 approval in China, then apply for the H-1 visa to come back.
