请问8老师一个关于H1B Transfer 的问题

我的旧学校faculty spring contract ends at May 7. 我是夏天六月份刚交的辞职信， 并且我夏天还有一个小项目直到6月份，学校还帮我把benefits 交到6月30日。但是由于我合同的终止日期是May 7, 我的 last working day （last employment day）仍然是 May 7 吗？

现在的情况是，新的employer 提交 transfer for me 在 May 7 之后 in June. 我是不是使用了grace period?

还有一个小问题呀。Does the H-1B transfer have to be approved before I work? Is it because the H1B transfer was submitted during the grace period?

8老师，关于在grace period 中提交H1B transfer 能不能用notice 工作，好像有很多不同的解释，您能麻烦给解释一下吗？非常谢谢
