回复：心急如焚：H1B 一周内过期Renewal仍无批复，求教各位老师！

H1B 12月20日到期；两个月前Filed Renewal但至今仍是INITIAL REVIEW。如果逾期不批，我算非法打工吗？现随LD递出485并有EAD，明年3月过期，但从未用过；急问： （1）我需要立即向我的雇主HR提供EAD信息吗？

-You can continue to work without using EAD for 240 days from the date when your current H1 expires during the H-1 extension petition is pending. So, don't worry.

（2）使用EAD后，我的H1B是否暂时失效？

-Yes, but you do not need to use it at this time (see above answer).

（3）照INS的H1B处理时间表，年底是没指望的；等收到H1B RENEWAL批复后，算自动重返返H1B status吗？多谢！
