PJiang -- Thank you very much for the reply. So for my situation, my employer immigration lawyer is correct that I can not file H1B extension, which is what mentioned in your article as "在极端情况下，I-140 批准且排期当前而 PERM/I-140 尚不足一年，不满足六年之后延 H-1B 的条件，只有 EAD 一条路。-- EB-1"?

Then I have to stop working after my current H1B expires and wait for EAD appproval? My employer will keep my job position. Will this gap of work cause any trouble to my I-485/I-765 applications which were just filed to USCIS?
