我将于今年9月底结束现在的工作（博士后，H1-b), 可是新的工作单位（industry job) 申请的H1-b 要到10月4日才开始有效，请问中间这一个月的时间我留在美国会不会非法呢？


会影响以后申请绿卡么？我咨询了新单位的律师，据说转换工作之间短时间的gap一般不会有太大问题，请问各位老师如何看呢？
