lol... you are playing against AI. When you play against

AI, if you are taking a flag, as long as there is no hostile in the area (w.r.t you), AI opponent will automatically drop an artillery sally to your location ---- that is what you called the "big bang" .. :) Most often, it will land at your place just after you neutralized the flag. But it may come earlier or later.
