It is good for the company

Generally it is good for the company: 1. being selected to be part of DJIA means it is one of the top company in its industry; 2. DJIA committee believes it is relatively stable in the mid to long term; 3. technically its stock may go up in the short term, because all DJIA related index funds and other large cap funds need to buy it.
