This is what I think

I have read many people talking about their parents on this website.  There are usually people commenting that parents can commit no wrong and that they don't believe what LZ have written.  Chinese say "your orginial family" (tou tai) is very important.  Some people are really luckier.  They don't believe stories of others.  But I always believe what people have said.  There might be another side of the story, but in general there are many Chinese parents who are abusive and have no respect for their children.
