真正订的时候，my contact sends me a Tour Summary and a Proforma Invoice. 订金是 25% of the total price. 会有一个secured payment link 接受 Visa or Mastercard 付款。这个 3rd party payment service is owned by Amazon Global Payment Services. 付款成功后会收到 email receipt from Amazon Payment Services, with the merchant name, invoice and the payment amount. 然后你再去click 那个 payment link, it would show Payment in Full, o balance on the invoice (the 25% deposit). The secured payment link is good for 8 or 9 days, it would show on the payment page. If it is passed you will need a new payment link to pay.
然后三十天 before service starts, you would receive the final payment Proforma invoice and again a new secured payment link.
In our case because Egypt Air drastically changed our flight schedules, directly caused we to modify our itinerary which led to cancellation of the land excursion to Abu Simbel, plus a hotel to airport transfer no longer needed. My contact modified the itinerary, resent me an updated itinerary and of course modified the total price of the package. Being overly cautious I made him to lust out in details on our modified itinerary in Cairo and Aswan so to avoid any confusion. 之后 I got the modified itinerary to my exact description I wanted. Then I was waiting for the Proforma Invoice and the payment link on the final payment ... and waiting ...
It turned out he went on vacation and I still did not received the final payment link when we were already 26 days to start our package. I tried to call the office a few times and eventually got hold of someone who then forwarded my message to my contact. That someone also assured me my contact got my message, not to worry. 我估計他们没有想过有客人急於付款吧？我想把事情快点办好是因为我们第一站是去约旦一周。一旦离开美国 没有可靠 网络 又不能用 1-800 和银行联系，如果付款出了问题比较难解决的。
卒之是出发前 20 days 才付了剩下的 75% （其实不到 因为 Total Price 少了）
这个 Private Tour 的車子 司机 和 导游 是分开三程。 在开罗是一程，在阿斯旺 和尼罗河 cruise 上半段 是一程， 尼罗河 cruise 下半段 和 Luxor 是一程。每一程有一个当地 branch 的 Director 和你联系 make sure everything is alright. 我们不滿意在阿斯旺第一个导游 第二天就换了一个。 Directors also either came to the airport to meet us or met us at one sightseeing spot. 最后在 Luxor 回 开罗那天早上六点 Director 和司机一块儿到酒店接我们去机场 办理登机手续什么的都在一旁協助。除了 开罗那位是有些糊塗，忘这忘那的。我经常要 premptive 的提醒她。其它两位 directors 都很 professional.
我们在开罗有一天是搬酒店 - 早上 check out Marriott Mena House, 当天是遊开罗市内的景点 包括埃及博物馆，各个教堂，Citadel, Islamic Old Cairo and Mosques. 最后去机场旁边的 Le Meridien 住 （第二天早上 是 6:15 的飞机去阿斯旺 然后去 Abu Simbel) 所以要住 Le Meridien) 行李这一天都是在車子的尾箱。 車子有司机负责 导遊負責協调從那儿到那儿。事实上 在去机场酒店时 导遊在剛出了 Old Town 就和我们分手了 司机负责把我们送到 Ke Meriden. 途中堵車非常严重 我们过意不去 给了司机 100 埃镑小费。他很高兴。其实才 4美元左右。現在是 3.70 美元。
