五月初递交的485 和EAD申请，排期大倒退，只能期待先用EAD。 但是H-1B 马上就失效， 同时需要换工作，所以不打算办 H-1B 延期，这样会不会影响EAD的申请？

-No. But technically, you can not work until your EAD application is approved.  You may discuss with your employer to see whether they can hold your salary until your EAD is approved, thus USCIS may not find your work during the EAD application pending.

等待期间是否能合法停留美国等？

-Yes.
