-You need to find a job in the same field. You can either enter US to file I-485 or apply for the immigrant visa in China after you find a job.
By the way, if you did not indicate in the I-140 that you will apply for the immigrant visa in China, you need to file I-824 to request USCIS to forward your I-140 to NVC to process for your immigrant visa application if you want to apply for it in China, not come back to US to file I-485.
