请教中文材料的组织

拿一个具体例子来说，

我在我的材料中需要说明国家自然科学基金的资助比率。这个资助比率每年会发布一个统计结果文件，这个文件有上百页。

我现在的做法是，打印出统计结果文件的第一页和包括我那类项目资助统计的页面（共2页）。
然后准备一个文件，摘录出关于资助比率那部分内容进行翻译。

翻译文件我是这么组织的，这个文件的开始时，我先加上这么一段话

The information can be obtained from the file of “Statistics of the projects
funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2013” (in Chinese:
2013年度国家自然科学基金资助项目统计). This file can
be downloaded from the website of National Natural Science Foundation of China.

然后再加上下面一段话

The following content is excerpted from the file of “Statistics of the projects

下面给出统计资助比率的那个表格的全部项目比率统计部分

而后给出上面表格内容的翻译。


请问我这么做可以吗，还是说中文翻译必须遵循什么格式，我一直没有查到有什么规定格式。请大家指点
