How to expedite EAD process, and how long to get the card

Out of most people’s expectation, EAD process suddenly slowed down from previously roughly a month to three and half month now, it’s pretty breath-taking situation, miracle will never happen unless you create it.

Here is the way to expedite the process.
Please remember EAD is your personal thing, you absolutely don’t need any help from either your lawyer or your company.
Just call USCIS at 1-800-375-5283 from 8AM~8PM your local time.
Select 1 for English
Select 2 from main menu
Select 6 to speak to a customer representative

The REP will ask who is the caller, just say [I’m by myself]
The REP will ask for the receipt number, give your LIN-XXXXXXXXXX
Tell the REP you need to expedite the process
Make your reason simple, like [If I can’t provide new card, my company will remove me from payroll list, I’m gonna lose my job], enough.
The REP will verify your personally information, and ask your email and phone.
The REP will provide you a confirmation number, that’s it!

Here is my time frame for your reference.
7.28, called USCIS
7.29, received confirmation email (1 day after the call)
8.3, card ordered (6 days after the call)
8.9, approval notice mailed (12 days after the call)
8.12, card received (15 days after the call)

This is a dead/live game, you must prepare as early as possible, if you fail to provide the new card before expiration, you definitely will down to abyss, you are the dead pig, doesn’t matter to suffer boiling water, but no company will risk the red line for you, they will terminate the employment relationship regardless how important you are!!!
