I know the new regulation states H visa holder can leave US afte

So my hu*****and still can file his AOS even he works in Canada. As long as he is physically in US on the day he files AOS. My point is I want him get greencard with me. I understand my EAD won't affect his entering in US, but I hope he can file AOS when PD turns to current. If not possible, we can go through consular processing. But I need to know what's is the worse case scenario( for his greencard) if I use EAD. Because I also don't have to change my employer if Company B offers a job to me.
