PJ, XBT, anyone, please help: H4 or EAD under I485 pending

Hello, PJiang, XBT, experienced and experts, please advise if you can

Situation:
485 pending, PD will be current next month.
primary applicant H1B & AOS, used AP, is going to file H1B extension (after 6 years) this week.current H1B expires on June 30.
spouse is a full-time student, used AP and is working under EAD, will finish study in August.

Questions:
1. Considering H4 may affect legitimate of the current EAD(correct?), I wonder if spouse's H4 should be extended at the same time or wait after H1B extension approved?
2. will H4 and EAD conflict? If you're H4, you can't use EAD, if you have used EAD, you are not H4 any more.

3. If 485 is denied, based on PJiang, H4 needs to be reinstated. how much time do we have to file H4 renewal?
