what's the difference of EAD and GC hoders for employers when lo

what's the difference of EAD and GC hoders for employers when looking for jobs? Will the employer disregard EAD holder? My friend is waiting for her GC (by marriage) and looking for a job at the same time and she wonders she holds EAD to look for job, would that be a disadvantage?
