INS appointment for EAD?

I have file my I-130 and I-765 with I-485 earlier this year.
Just received a lettle from INS, it's an appointment "To complete processing for your work authorization card", why need appointment for EAD? and is there some questions or interview at that time?

any info will be appreciated.
