Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky) said in a statement that the "American people should have a voice in the selection of their next Supreme Court Justice. Therefore, this vacancy should not be filled until we have a new President."

McConnell is funny. American people always have a voice in the selection of their next Supreme Court Justice. American people elected the current president, that's their voice. Unless McConnell meant the election of Obama was illegal, then we will have to wait for a new president to nominate the next Supreme Court Justice. Besides, the new president might be President Clinton or President Sanders. And they might, just might, nominate .... say, Obama to be the next Supreme Court Justice.
