Most of Chinese in America are able to find men's room or lady's room without mistake in the street. That is where their English ends. They do not understand pretty much anything else, let alone highly coded political American English
If you ask them the meaning of "minority", they all give you definition of Marriam-Webster. NO! the word "minority" is coded political racial pretext referring to SPECIFICALLY blacks and hispanics. So does Affirmative Action.
Never does it mean any other ethnic minority group, least of all, Asians, remember that.
Democrats are very good at this kind of coded words. Hillary uses it because her intent is to pander both camps : blacks/hispanics AND Asians. Both camps believe she was referring to them. Only blacks/hispanics understand true meaning of it. And most of Chinese and other Asians do not. That is one of key reasons that they are with Democrats.
Democrats understand well that with wealth accumulated by Asians, they could easily desert them and form alliance with GOP. They tried very hard to keep them.
