去饭店大吃大喝??? -- you must be misled by a few clips put up by CCTV afterwards.  The students only ordered and drank soups!                                            

It is undeniable that Chai Ling and etc. fled and left other students in the dark.  But you got to remember that even 5 of the 戊戌变法六君子 fled - it is common for people to cherish their own lives first in such situation.  Of course we still remember the only one who chose to stay and who sacrificed his own life hoping to awake his fellow citizens.                    

It turns out Chai Ling and quite a few so called 民运 leaders are clowns.  However, one can't use that to deny the devotion and sacrifice made by millions of students and citizens.
