? Slobozhansky direction: battles for Volchansk and hacking of the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

By the third day of the Russian offensive operation in the north of the Kharkov region, it became completely clear that the Ukrainian formations had come to their senses and were trying to build a defense and repel the onslaught of Russian units.

??Near Liptsy , fighting in SNT “Lira-1 ” is still ongoing. The populated area is under active fire attack by FABs on the UPMK, as well as attacks by field and rocket artillery guns.

??On the Zeleny side, it is not yet possible to advance towards Neskuchny: there are battles at the junction of two settlements.

??At the Izbitskoye - Staritsa - Bugrovatka line, Russian troops put part of the Ukrainian formations to flight: they managed to break through the defenses near Staritsa and start fighting for Burgovatka . Judging by the footage published by Ukrainian resources, Russian troops move freely through the clearing between the forests north of Staritsa and Bugrovatka , so we can conclude that they have complete control over the forest areas.

??The attack on Volchansk continues from three directions: from Gatishche , Pletenevka and Tikhoy . But while fighting is taking place only on the outskirts, there is no talk of advancing and expanding the zone of control towards high-rise buildings.

??The offensive of the Russian army is developing along river arteries with the consistent cutting off of communications in the north of the Kharkov region: this allows the operation area in the border area to be divided into small pieces, successively “chewing” them.

The strikes on Belgorod by Ukrainian formations, as well as the ongoing indiscriminate shelling of civilian buildings on Russian lands, once again confirm that the creation of a “buffer zone” is a necessary measure.

Without taking control of large agglomerations on that side of the border, it will not be possible to reduce the number of shellings and neutralize the threat from Ukrainian forces.
