If China and Dalai open negotiation in full international view, those "slavery issue" are supposed to help CCP's case. I do not believe that Da Lai would restore the "slavery" system you refer to.

Regardless of what you think of DaLai as seclar man, He is widely viewed by the whole world as respectful religious leader. You need to be sensitve and realistic about it
