Typical chinese way of thinking

Americans are idealists. Whoever made them feel good inspired, they make him/her President.

When I came to US in 1990s, I experienced my first President Election in 1992 where older Bush seeking re-election against young Bill Clinton.

By experience, simply no comparison. Older Bush has truck load of experience with both US government and international. Chinese know this very well. But he lost at the end. I was shocked.
