Should be no problem. In general, your creditors will authorize the debt to some debt collection agents first if they haven't received any payment from you in 6 months, then the debt collection agent will write you or call you to hararss you. Since you only own them 10K, not a big number, they won't treat your case seriously. If you don't plan to go back to america, just file bankuptcy by yourself ($200), and then you will be free from the debt.
