请教：电脑启动的问题

朋友买了一台二手笔记本电脑，开机后运行到 Windows is starting up 等十分钟也起不来。只能在window 运行之前按F2到setup，然后按esc，这时就会出来一个小窗户：
The system could not log you on. Make sure your user name and domain are correct; then type your passward again. Letters in passwords must be typed using the correct case. 这时候还有另外一个小窗户作为背景，上面的user name 和 password 依稀可见，但是到不了这个地方。
当Click OK （没有别的选择）以后，就出现了有刚才的user name 和标志的Welcome Screen，click 后电脑就打开了。整个过程没有任何地方需要输入password. 这样启动当然很不方便，请教各位如何改变设置。
因为没有系统恢复盘，不可能重新安装Windows.
