Please help! coffee on laptop

I spilled some coffee on a laptop I bought just 2 weeks ago...I tried to reverse the laptop but it was too late. The power was out before I tried to do that. What might be the problem, please help! Now a week later, I guess the water has been dried up. But when I plug it in, the power would not come up...Help please write to wmsports@yahoo.com
