iPad不用那么多钱。
区别：Ipad有很多apps， 有些是很好的学习的，对孩子很有益处的。你也可以设置passcode，这样，没有passcode, 孩子不能用Ipad。
          Laptop, 用处很多，就是不能利用各种apps. 你也可以设置password, 限制孩子不能用。

控制孩子上网的软件，是不是也适用iPad?
我没用过，小孩在小学，可是蛮自觉的，passcode 都是公开的，

I personally think, it is not smart to avoid the technology. But to use it, life should be fun not depressed and feel guilty all the time. 

smartphone, ipad, internet are not demons, they can be used for good.
