错误信息如下: the network connecctions folder was unable to retrieve the list of network adapters on your machine. please make sure that the network connections service is enabled and running.

how to "make sure the network connections service is enabled and running"? is that some problem with the registry? i did some modification on that. but don't remember what i changed. this error happens when i open the Network Connections folder in control panel. in there i can't see any connections i created before and therefore can't use them.
