what to do?

Thanks for your info, LingHu and CaoMin.

If it was the problem of the memory or MotherBoard BIOS, then what can I do to heal the problem?

By the way, there are some more symptoms witht he PC:

1. My friend gave me a 128MB memory, and I put it on, but it was said that it was on 64MB -- this is due to the motherboard, right?

2. My frined has used this PC with Win98, and it worked. But bow it doesn't work any more. I'm wondering if some person has changed some parts of the PC, since the PC is for lab use before. If so, it's not likely that the motherborad is changed.
